1. Scope
These terms of use set out the rules for using this website, operated by Medassist Turizm ve Seyahat A.Ş. ("MedAssist"). By using the site you are deemed to accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What MedAssist is
MedAssist is an international health tourism intermediary operating under the International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye (Certificate No: AK-0098), and a Group A travel agency licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (TÜRSAB licence No: 11741).
MedAssist is not a hospital or healthcare facility; it does not diagnose, does not carry out treatment and does not provide medical services. MedAssist's service is to organise and coordinate the patient's communication with contracted hospitals and doctors, the appointment and preliminary assessment process, and travel, transfer, accommodation, interpreting and accompaniment services.
3. Medical responsibility
Medical assessment, diagnosis, whether treatment is needed, its method and its delivery, and medical care after treatment are decided by, and are the responsibility of, the hospital and doctor who provide the treatment. The relationship between doctor and patient is subject to the applicable health legislation and to the hospital's own rules.
MedAssist does not make these decisions and does not undertake to achieve any medical outcome. MedAssist's responsibility is limited to the organisation and coordination services it undertakes in the written service contract concluded with you.
4. Site content is for information
Treatment areas, descriptions of the process, blog articles and other content on the site are for general information. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and they do not replace an examination by a doctor. Decisions about your health should be based on the assessment of the doctor who examines you.
We take care that the content is accurate and up to date; however, we do not undertake that it is always complete and current. Information specific to you (the scope and duration of treatment, and the hospital) is confirmed separately with the hospital and doctor before you decide.
5. How a service is agreed
Information on the site is not an offer. The organisation service is established by a separate service contract that sets out its scope, stages and fee in writing. If these terms conflict with the service contract, the service contract applies.
6. Your obligations
When using the site, you agree:
– to take care that the information you send us is accurate,
– not to share another person's personal data without that person's knowledge and authorisation,
– not to use the site for unlawful purposes or attempt to disrupt its operation or endanger its security,
– not to collect data in bulk by automated means and not to misuse our contact channels.
7. Intellectual property
The MedAssist name and logo are a trademark registered with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (Trademark No: 2019 27788). The texts, design, images and other content on the site belong to MedAssist or its licensors. Except for personal, non-commercial use, this content may not be copied, reproduced, modified or published without MedAssist's written permission.
Institution and hospital logos shown on the site belong to the organisations concerned; they appear only to indicate membership or a working relationship.
8. Third-party services and links
The site may contain links to third-party services such as WhatsApp and to other websites. The service provider concerned is responsible for the content, operation and privacy practices of these services; their own terms apply when you use them.
9. Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is. MedAssist does not undertake that the site will operate without interruption or error. To the extent permitted by law, MedAssist cannot be held liable for damage arising from decisions based on general information on the site or from the site being unavailable. This limitation does not affect liability arising from law that cannot be excluded by contract.

11. Changes
MedAssist may update these terms. The current text is always published on this page and takes effect on the date it is published.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. The statutory rights of users acting as consumers, including their right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts, are reserved.
